Sewon Kim

Hello! I am a PhD candidate in public administration at the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at Indiana University Bloomington, with expertise in public finance and public management.

My research interests lie at the intersection of public finance, institutions and governance, and organizational management. Through my research, I hope to contribute to both academia and practice by providing scientific evidence and insights into financial management for sustainable governance.

My work has been recognized by the Association for Budgeting and Financial Management (ABFM) through the Michael Curro Best Student Paper Award. My publications have appeared in, or have been invited for revision and resubmission to, journals including Public Budgeting & Finance, Public Management Review, and Regional Studies.
